Due to provincial regulations, we have a limited number of laying hens, meaning our egg supply is small and exclusive—available only with the purchase of our meats. Under the regulations set by the Egg Farmers of Ontario, farmers without egg quota can have a maximum of 99 laying hens on their premises. Despite our efforts to purchase egg quota, the current rules restrict transfers, increases in allotments, and sales only among existing quota holders. As a result we are limited with the amount of eggs that we can produce on our farm daily, weekly, monthly and seasonally; therefore the eggs produced on our farm are exclusively included only in orders that include our meats. Our eggs are not sold as an individual product and must be purchased with our meats, they are an added product to those who buy our meats. $55 minimum order = 1 dozen maximum. $100 minimum order = 2 dozen maximum (when available). During the winter months this option has limited availability as our egg production season is typically between mid March to end of October.
